Pilgrimage of San Isidro

In May, the traditional pilgrimage of San Isidro, patron saint of farmers, is celebrated around May 15th.

That day the image of the Saint is accompanied by all the people, to the huerta place called “El Marco” where a day of celebration and coexistence tooks place.

It is a tradition to eat the typical rabbit paella, the dessert called “almojábenas”, or the delicious “gypsy arm”.

The musical accompaniment is never lacking in these popular events and, of course, after the meal it is very good to dance in the essential verbena.
